We made a 3D Solar System project. We painted a stryfoam ball yellow to represent the sun and then colored and added onto string the planets in their away from the sun. The kids then were assigned a project in which they had to invent their own planet! They got to decide the temperature, if there is life on it, the color, etc and present to the class.
